The Advertising Council Australia (formerly known as The Communications Council) is the peak professional body representing companies in the Australian advertising industry, with over 160 agency members that operate in the areas of creative, digital, strategic planning, promotion, direct marketing, PR, design, production and healthcare advertising. As the Advertising Council Australia’s legal partner, we offer guidance, legal clearance, and more complex advice on legal challenges to member agencies.

The Australian Influencer Marketing Council, a division of the not-for-profit Audited Media Association of Australia, provides leadership and best practice guidance to the advertising sector in respect of Influencer marketing. We are members of the Guiding Council and advisors to the AIMCo Code of Practice, which establishes the baseline of accepted practices for those working with social media Influencers.

Arts Law is Australia’s independent national community legal centre for the arts, a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. We provide free or low cost specialised legal advice, education and resources to Australian artists and arts organisations across all art forms, on a wide range of arts related legal and business matters.

The Commercial Producers Council (CPC) is a member based organisation representing the interests of production companies working in marketing communications. Members are engaged in commercial production, post production, editing, music and animation, working with creative and media communications agencies in the delivery of audio visual expertise.

The IMAA is a not-for-profit industry association developed and run by independent media agency leaders. As the preferred legal advisors to the IMAA, we are available to advise members and we provide seminars on current legal issues and assisting with risk management.

The Media Federation of Australia (‘MFA’) is the peak body representing media communication agencies to government, industry, media owners and individuals. MFA members represent 85% of all media agency placed media billings nationally and we are proud to be an honorary member, partnering with them to provide a full spectrum of legal services on complex industry matters.

Shop! (formerly known as POPAI) is the only global, not for profit industry association exclusively advocating for excellence in shopper marketing and retail experience. We are the official legal partner for SHOP! and offer its members free initial legal consultations as well as downloadable legal information sheets and guidelines. We provide on-going seminars on current legal issues designed to assist members in navigating common legal issues and applying risk management principles.
